Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. To ensure success in this role you should be organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence across multiple levels of an organization. You will collaborate and lead strategies to deliver on organization goals while balancing the needs and priorities of our existing partners, whilst also working to develop new business opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Price, present, and follow-through on our seasonal assortments with each account, managing timelines of both internal and external calendars.
Develop and continue a solid and trusting relationship between account and company.
Bridge leaning gaps between account and company to further solidify the relationship.
Resolve account issues and any customer complaints.
Develop a complete understanding of account needs and train company personnel on these needs.
Implement support programs / systems at company to best serve account.
Manage support team for the account ensuring sales reports and store set analysis are done for each set.
Short- and long-term strategic planning to improve account results.
Negotiate pricing and contracts with the account and establish and enforce timelines for results.
Work with design, sales, creative, advertising, logistics, shipping managers, marketing, and other internal and external team members to ensure account has the highest quality of materials and best service level within agreed upon terms.
Meet all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines, especially information data entry with various deadlines.
Explore new business development opportunities, both from a product and retailer perspective.
Qualifications and Skills
2+ years working with retailer accounts in consumables and/or hardlines.
4-year degree in Sales related field (business, psychology, marketing) and 2 plus years of sales or account management experience.
Knowledge of online data entry systems and access management of those systems.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Goal-oriented, very organized team player.
Encouraging staff and team; able to mentor and lead.
In-depth understanding of our key customers and their position in the industry.
Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
Able to analyze data and sales statistics to translate results into better solutions.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Strong negotiation skills, with ability to follow-through on client contracts.
Computer skills, including experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, NetSuite, or Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on superior Excel skills.
Proven results of delivering client solutions and exceeding sales and support goals.
Ability to work full time in an office and travel as needed.

Pay:
